Elena Kalodner-Martin, Ph.D. Technical Communication Teacher, Writer, and Researcher
I am an incoming Assistant Professor in the Writing, Rhetoric, and Literacy Program at The Ohio State University. I also currently serve as the Associate Editor of Technical Communication and Social Justice.
My primary teaching and research areas are technical and professional communication, the rhetoric of health and medicine, social media studies, and feminist rhetoric. In particular, I investigate how patient-generated medical evidence and expertise influences healthcare outcomes for both individuals and communities.
I completed my PhD in Composition and Rhetoric at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2024.
